Has "Low Ressource Mode" helped you? Does the bug persist in Gwenview 25.08? Regarding speed, the truth is that now, without even activating "low resources" mode, reading JXL files is quite fast from an external USB hard drive. RW2 (RAW) files take the same amount of time. As for RAM memory, I don't notice a significant difference between having low resources mode enabled or not. Where I don't see any speed increase after enabling this mode is when opening folders with videos.
