Description joseph.md.sorensen 2024-02-05 20:23:03 UTC
SUMMARY
When mousing over applications in the Task manager, plasma seems to stutter and lag. As far as I can tell, this seems to be caused by attempting to render previews for firefox windows.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Use a plasma wayland session
2. Open up 1 or 2 firefox windows
3. Observe the lag

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux/KDE Plasma: Linux Zen 6.7.3
(available in About System)
KDE Plasma Version: 5.27.10
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.114.0
Qt Version: 5.15.12

It's a bit hard to tell on video, but the mouse hitches when the firefox icon is reached

Thanks for the bug report. This is already fixed for Plasma 6.
