I'm running windows 10, uninstalled and reinstalled 23.08.4.
When i render anything now, be it full project or clip, it just give me the base video, no effects, no images. Ive tried a few different video like h265 and h265, same issue. I haven't changed any settings since it was rendering properly.

Hmm, if you reinstalled, maybe some old files are causing conflicts. You could try deleting the C:\Program Files\kdenlive folder and reinstall (warning this will erase your Kdenlive settings), then reinstall.

If the issue is still here, try creating a very simple project (1 color clip in timeline) and add an effect. Does the effect show up in the project monitor ? Does it render correctly ?
