When disabling bluetooth this is supposedly done via rfkill. This takes a while with no reaction at all.

It would be great UI improvement to make the applet show in "loading" mode and display an indicator.

currently it also doesnt lock inputs into the applet when still loading, which means it is easy to double click (thinking it doesnt react) and activate bluetooth again.

Indeed, blocking the UI here is not ideal.
