SUMMARY
Hey, so I know about the having to wait 1 or more seconds to for the menu to popup bug https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=448867, but one thing that I have noticed is that even when the popup appears. When I choose "set image", nothing happens.


STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Find some image you want to use in firefox.
2. Drag and drop it to the desktop, wait 1 or more seconds until the popup menu appears.
3. Choose set image

OBSERVED RESULT
Nothing happens.

EXPECTED RESULT
The wallpaper should be set to the image you dropped onto the desktop.

Dragging from firefox to the desktop does also not work for my setup.

In my case after dragging and waiting for something to happen, nothing happens, no menu appears.

The issue seems to not be limited to Firefox, as I can't drag and drop using Gwenview, either. The menu simply does not appear, not even when waiting for over 1 second as suggested in bug 448867.
