Description Gabriel 2024-01-29 01:04:40 UTC
SUMMARY
Sometimes when animating, selecting a frame will show the corresponding frame in the canvas, but when I start drawing, the image in the canvas changes to a different frame and the changes get made on the wrong frame. When I undo and select the correct frame It may happen again. So I get stuck in a loop of selecting a frame to edit, only to start drawing and having the application change to a different frame. This didn't use to happen on an older version, but I updated some time recently and it started happening.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Draw different frames
2. Go back and forth editing and at some point it starts happening

OBSERVED RESULT
The application displays the selected frame in the canvas, but when drawing over it, it changes to a different frame.

EXPECTED RESULT
The displayed frame shouldn't change, since I selected the specific frame I wanted to edit.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Windows: 10

Love Krita! hope this gets fixed

Hey there. I think that this issue has been fixed!

If you can, please test again using the "Krita Next" nightly version from http://krita.org (or by building Krita's "master" branch from source.)

If "Krita Next" works correctly, then you can expect to see the fix included with the next stable version release of Krita. However, if you're still having this issue in Krita Next or with Krita's master branch, please feel free to reopen this bug report and we can continue to investigate.

Thank you,
Emmet.
