Hi,
When I change my VM settings to enable OpenGL on the spice display server and enable 3D acceleration on the virtio video settings, it works.
the xml of my VM are now:

With these new settings, the output of 'glxinfo -B' shows "virgl" as the Device. With the previous settings, it showed llvmpipe.
I'm also trying to reproduce it again with a new VM, and I'm failing to do that... :-/.

Rik
Do any other QML-based apps fail in the same way? For example: Discover: System Monitor, Spectacle, Filelight, or NeoChat? Or is it just System Settings? Dear Bug Submitter, This bug has been in NEEDSINFO status with no change for at least 15 days. Please provide the requested information as soon as possible and set the bug status as REPORTED. Due to regular bug tracker maintenance, if the bug is still in NEEDSINFO status with no change in 30 days the bug will be closed as RESOLVED > WORKSFORME due to lack of needed information. For more information about our bug triaging procedures please read the wiki located here: https://community.kde.org/Guidelines_and_HOWTOs/Bug_triaging If you have already provided the requested information, please mark the bug as REPORTED so that the KDE team knows that the bug is ready to be confirmed. Thank you for helping us make KDE software even better for everyone! Hi, (In reply to Nate Graham from comment #2) > Do any other QML-based apps fail in the same way? For example: Discover: > System Monitor, Spectacle, Filelight, or NeoChat? > > Or is it just System Settings? Sorry for the delay. I've tried to reproduce the issue using https://kojipkgs.fedoraproject.org/compose/rawhide/latest-Fedora-Rawhide/compose/Spins/x86_64/iso/Fedora-KDE-Live-x86_64-Rawhide-20240212.n.0.iso This iso contains the following versions: plasma 5.93 kde frameworks 5.249.0 QT 6.6.1 on Wayland I can no longer reproduce the issue. Systemsettings opens when I click the icon in the tray. The error message "QString::arg: 2 argument(s) missing in systemsettings" no longer appears, so I assume this issue has been resolved in an update between the two versions. The following message do still appear in the journal when I launch systemsettings: LibEGL warning: egl: failed to create dri2 screen MESA: error: ZINK: failed to choose pdev libEGL warning: egl: failed to create dri2 screen Regards, Rik Thanks for following up. If you can't reproduce the issue anymore, than there;'s probably nothing we can do until and unless you can. So let's close the bug report for now. But feel free to re-open it if the issue recurs! Thanks. |
