Description Fabian Arndt 2024-01-25 15:04:31 UTC
SUMMARY

Spectacle creates pretty big files, if used to record a screen with high refresh rates.
This could be avoided by limiting the FPS of the recording / file.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Buy a fancy screen.
2. Record something with Spectacle.
3. Check the file size.

OBSERVED RESULT

The file is pretty big, as it has a high frames per second figure.

EXPECTED RESULT

Spectacle should offer an option to limit the fps and the file would be smaller.
