SUMMARY

Kimageformats removes support for jxl.

*kimageformats5 5.113.0
* libjxl 0.9.1 (got updated today)

Affected software:
System Wallpaper > No Wallpaper/changed itself to ugly stock (the one with compression artefacts- remove it from KDE, please).
Dolphin > No Thumbnails
Gwenview > Cannot Display any jxl photos
Lock Screen > No background
SDDM Login > No background (complete white).

EXPECTED RESULT
Fix Regression. Reinstate support for JXL.

Hmmm, its not the first time that only jpg was not affected by meddling with kimageformats. All others were (avif, for exaple, now jxl...). If you change something. Please check it beforehand if it opens affected files.

This is, once again, a partial upgrade on your side. I'd suggest you consider switching to a different distro since you seem to have trouble properly maintaining an Arch Linux installation (and keep blaming KDE for it)
