We'll need more information, I'm afraid. Did you manually turn it off at some point in time? Can you provide startup logs that show it failing or dying? Where can I find the logs for kscreen? I start kscreen in the settings it works but after restart it shows as not started. And it’s selected for auto start. Try `journalctl --user-unit plasma-kscreen.service`. Oh actually, question: are you on Wayland or X11? journalctl --user-unit plasma-kscreen.service -- No entries -- Wayland and Nvidia Open Kernel driver https://archlinux.org/packages/extra/x86_64/nvidia-open-dkms/ What exactly does "kscreen dont auto start" mean? What problem are you encountering? Created attachment 165073 [details]
Screenshot of the problem
I have added an screenshot. The kscreen is selected for start every boot. But it dont do that. For example i have set Scaling to 125%. Every restart ist goes back to 150% Sacling. If i start the kscreen service ist goes back to my set 125%. The module not running is expected. On Wayland the KScreen KDED module is not used and its functionality is implemented in KWin directly. Any user-facing issue you are having is unrelated to that Where can I report my problem than? That the valve get resetet very boot? This sounds like https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=477238 Thank you. I close this here. |
