STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. open file contain long lines. like /var/log/syslog
2. CTL+R , adding text, and replace with in replace form.
3. replace all


OBSERVED RESULT
replacing and changing long lines by adding new lines in them.


EXPECTED RESULT
replacing only

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

can solving this in each opened file by change warping from menus.

Warping in menus did not saving its status in kate.

I can not reproduce that. Did you get the message that too long lines got wrapped? Did you trigger a reload with a higher line limit?
