*** Bug 479804 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** Hi, Joe! Please attach the file in question so we could check what is wrong with it. The file is definitely huge and, unless you activate on-disk animation cache, it will occupy a lot of **CPU** RAM. But it shouldn't eat too much of the GPU RAM. Created attachment 164902 [details]

At first I found that I couldn't use the wrap tool to adjust the angle of the head of my character on the ''head4''coverage because it was delaying and jerking discontinuously,so I could hardly adjust it to the proper angle,Sometimes Krita crushed after a amount of failing to repond; Then I thought perhaps the head was too complicated for my computer to handle with,so I erased a part of it,but the bug still exsist.I erased all,but it did not matter. Finally I cut off most part of the coverage but only remains the part of head and the memory usage plunged.By the way,the other parts of my character on nine coverages only take 286MiB,so it confused me a lot
how could a coverage with nothing on it could takes 3.5GiB
