SUMMARY
The "custom length" bar and floating panel overlap. 
* This is also reproducable in today master branch.
This is probably because the distace from the border is calculated based on the panel not floating. 

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Right click on the panel -> enter edit mode
2. Put length to custom
3. Enable floating

OBSERVED RESULT
The length bar override with the floating panel.

EXPECTED RESULT
The are separed by some space.
