Which Kate Icon are you right-clicking on whose context menu is missing the recent files? Can you attach a screenshot? Created attachment 164820 [details]

Also there is no recent document when I right-click Kate in the task manager.
Ah, this is Bug 478397, which is fixed in time for RC1. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 478397 *** And it is working for me with today's git master; all recent files show up as expected in the context menus in Kickoff and Task Manager. Also it works for me after setting "Remember opened documents" to "For all applications" in "Recent Files" KCM. :) |
