An additional option under Configure  | General  |  Filter  to "Do not show zero balance accounts" to be added please.

This is required because if the account is closed, the audit trail is filtered out in reports and other reconciliations.

Often a user will require the account to remain open, yet not visible under the "Assets and Liabilities Summary" (Home).
