Does the same happen if you search for those things in KRunner?

Yes, then it also occurs. After searching for a string, I get some results, and clicking the folder icon next to them gives me the error 'chdir: No such file or directory'.

I noticed this only happens with files I moved at some point. Searching for stationary files like configs or app data works as expected.

Maybe that's also of interest to you: Baloo is enabled, also indexing file contents and hidden files. Indexing is 99% complete.

Comment 3 Nate Graham 2024-02-16 19:20:57 UTC
Thanks. It sounds like what might be going on is that the file index has stale paths in it.

Do you get the same results when you run `baloosearch [search term]` in a terminal window?
