I will stop using the dolphin file browser if there is not an option to remove the annoying blue bar at the bottom of the application begging me to install Konsole.

Just close the (in your case empty) Terminal pane with F4 and you won't see it anymore.

This does not work, every single time you open a new window the setting does not stick
