KWin doesn't do anything special when setting modes, it just uses what the kernel driver says is available, so I'm relatively confident that this is a driver bug. It could also be a problem with the display; I've seen similar weird issues happen before with an old Intel GPU and monitor, and IIRC with DisplayLink (on Windows) too. Does it also happen on Xorg? Does it also happen on Xorg? Im using kde6 beta so im using wayland i never had this when i used xorg Okay, then it's most likely a driver bug. Afaik the right place to report it is in the NVidia forum. |
