Thanks for your report. Good news, it is already possible to dock the monitor that way - although the way to achieve it is not very intuitive. You need to go in the menu: View > Dock Area Orientation > Arrange Dock Areas in Columns Then you can have the monitor on one side using all height. Let us know if that fits your need. Thank you! That's what I was looking for precisely. My bad, I wasn't enough attentive, just tried to dock Project monitor to the right side without the additional setting.

After first season of my bug reports I've decided to make the second, so my beloved kdenlive would improve much more! Long story short I am working 24/7 with kdenlive only and haven't even touched something like premiere pro/davinci. But recently I had to touch Capcut and have something on my mind since I feel like crucial features are missing. This will be a short seperated series of bug reports/improvement requests. TL;DR SUMMARY The project monitor can't be moved as the whole to the right side, which would be much more convinient. Not not miss any vertical space of display for vertical videos.
