I have a color printer and the default printing is set to grayscale. If I try to print one pdf in color from okular and change the printing to color, it is ignored and i still get a greyscale print. 
Steps:
1) open the pdf
2)File->Print
3) Properties (for the printer)
4) Change the option of Color Mode in the Advanced tab)
5) OK
6) Print

Result: grayscale print .
