I am sorry to hear that your PC has turned of by itself and led to the loss of unsaved documents. We strongly recommend you save your documents frequently, especially before leaving the PC unattended for long periods of time. Krita does have autosave [1] (the default interval is every 7 minutes) so there is a chance you can recover some of your progress.

If you have not saved the document before, the autosave file will be located in the temporary directory (type "%TEMP%" without the quotes into the address bar in Windows Explorer to browse that directory). You should also be prompted to recover the autosave when starting Krita.

If you have saved the document before, the autosave file will be located in the same directory as the original save file. You can see the file path on the recent documents list from the "File" menu. You should also be prompted to recover the autosave when opening the original file.

If for some reason the recent documents list has been emptied and you are unsure where you have saved the file, you can use the search function in your operating system and look for files with the pattern ".kra". This should list all Krita documents on your device.

In the future, if you have other general support questions I recommend asking on the Krita Artists forum over at https://krita-artists.org/
