crash when typing in person tag window in Preview mode

SUMMARY

digiKam always crashes, when in Preview I start to type anything (any keyboard input) in the person tag box

STEPS TO REPRODUCE

1. switch to Preview
2. show people tags
3. locate the cursor in the tag name field by clicking the mouse
4. press any key (left arrow, any letter, whatever)
5. digiKam crashes, always

OBSERVED RESULT

digikam should not crash
it should be possible to assign a person tag in the Preview mode

my only workaround is to switch into Thumbnail view first and to tag the person there
another way is to use only the mouse in the preview mode:
- mouse click on down arrow
- mouse click on the arrow before person
- scroll down using the mouse or a combination of first letter and mouse

but this is very complicated

EXPECTED RESULT

digiKam should not crash when using the keyboard in the Preview person tag section
