STEPS TO REPRODUCE

1.  Open:  Kate
2.  Open:  "Configure Keyboard Shortcuts"
2.  Set:  "Next / Previous Item" to "Custom: None"
3.  Close
4.  Open Kate
5.  Open:  "Configure Keyboard shortcuts"

OBSERVED RESULT

1.  "Next / Previous Item" reset to "Default"
2.  Me, crying in the shower

EXPECTED RESULT

1.  "Next / Previous Item" set to "None"
2.  Me, typing joyfully and carefree
