I can import pictures, add tags, ... but unable to view or edit them : "Unable to load the picture".
Same problem with Showfoto

I can view the pictures with the file browser, I have all the access rigths.

I am a digikam user from years.
What has been corrupt ?

If you use Snap package under Ubuntu, the problem is know 

Please try with the Linux AppImage that we provide instead :
