STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. open the settings of any widget, for example:
kickoff
task manager
system tray
digital clock
system monitor widgets
2. resize the window by dragging its borders
3. close the window
4. reopen the settings of the widget used in the step 1

OBSERVED RESULT
the window size set in the step 2 was lost

EXPECTED RESULT
the window size set in the step 2 should be remembered

Can reproduce. This used to work in the past; maybe it got lost with the migration to KCM components or some other refactor.
