Dolphin left (files unreadable), Thunar right (name readable)

SUMMARY
This is a feature request for an option in the Settings to make the height of an icon row flexible/variable, depending on the length of the document and folder names in the folder. I love working with KDE and Dolphin, but the lack of an option to do this currently frequently hampers my workflow.
For background, I often have files with a similar name in 1 folder, with version dates or version numbers at the end. This is handy, because this way they get automatically sorted according to version or date. However, in Dolphin, if the name of the document is a bit longish, I can no longer read the version or the date (see image below, and the difference with Thunar which does show the full name and has a variable height for each icon row based on the length of the names).
This problem also emerges when I have files with just a long name - I cannot read them fully.
So this is a request to create an option in the Settings to make the height of each icon row variable, like with Thunar.
I would switch to Thunar, but I like Dolphin for other reasons + Dolphin is much better integrated in my (KDE) system.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Create a few documents with long names, esp with versions at the end, in 1 folder
2. Open Dolphin
3. Try to pick the right document

OBSERVED RESULT
Without tooltips or clicking each file, it is impossible to select the right file.

EXPECTED RESULT
An option in the Settings to turn on 'variable/flexible' row height like in Thunar, that automatically adapts the height of each row to the length of the names of the files/folders in that row.
