Description kelnio@yahoo.com 2023-11-30 15:19:34 UTC
SUMMARY
When in a Plasma Wayland session, the Maliit onscreen keyboard is very unstable when used on a maximized window. The Maliit keyboard causes the window to flash and Maliit continuously launches. It looks like Maliit is trying to push the maximized window up, but the window is not allowing it. If the window is not maximized, Maliit works normally.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Ensure that the Maliit onscreen keyboard is installed and selected as the system's virtual keyboard
2. Launch a Plasma Wayland session
3. Open an application like Dolphin or System Settings, then maximize the window.
4. Select an input field

OBSERVED RESULT
The Maliit keyboard causes the window to flash and Maliit continuously launches.

EXPECTED RESULT
The Maliit keyboard launches smoothly one time.
