How did you set it up this way? Not exactly that way. The way I described it is an improvement . For instance, the unlock screen shows no indication it is expecting a PIN. Also, I have to press ENTER after the PIN. I've followed this [blog](https://blog.fancypi.cn/blog/pin_login_in_kde.html) and manually install the package libpam-pwdfile and manually edited the file /usr/lib/pam.d/kde. May i ask how you did manually install the package ? I'm new to linux, and couldn't find the package using dnf Merging together requests here since they're functionally for the same feature.
