STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. try to install a login theme and apply. Only the breeze theme works
2. log back in. 


OBSERVED RESULT
theme not applied, reverted to fallback. 

EXPECTED RESULT
theme applied

- Is this to be expected? Do we need to differentiate between plasma5/6 theming? how are we going to handle compatibility?

themeing is specific to the qt/kde version.  existing themes will be ported and new ones will emerge.  they will start to appear on opendesktop and in thegetnewstuff downloader soon i would guess

wouldn't it be better to seperate the qt5 from the qt6? Like they did with the splash screens here: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=476930

i'm sure that will happen.  plasma6 is still prelease after all.
