I can only reproduce when focus has been removed from the Widget Explorer by clicking somewhere else after adding a widget, or when adding a widget by dragging. In these cases, the Widget Explorer loses focus and can't be closed with the Esc key or by clicking elsewhere. I prefer the drag and drop to add a widget as imo it is the most natural way to add a widget, we should do something so that focus remains on the widget explorer window even after dragging and dropping a widget. I cannot reproduce this anymore. It seems like this has been fixed. May I ask either you or Nate to double check if you're still able to reproduce this in the latest Plasma version / master? 🐛🧹 ⚠️ This bug has been in NEEDSINFO status with no change for at least 15 days.
