problem persists with the latest version of the snap Version 23.08.3
Cantor snap can't add backends (maxima, scilab, etc.) STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. install cantor via snap 2. open cantor 3. Settings > Configure Cantor OBSERVED RESULT it is not possible to add a backend (maxima, scilab, etc) to cantor when installing cantor from snap EXPECTED RESULT it should be possible to add a backend to cantor (maxima and scilab are locally installed) SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux: GNU/Linux PC1 6.2.0-36-generic #37~22.04.1-Ubuntu SMP PREEMPT_DYNAMIC Cantor snap version: 23.08.3 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION All the permissions for the snap were activated in the Ubuntu Software app |
