Sentry Crash Report:

Description Jens Reuterberg 2023-11-11 21:19:20 UTC
Words ending in Å, Ä or Ö are not correctly rendered when put within Markdown symbols like for bold "**text+å**"
***

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Write a word ending in "å"
2. Try to use **+** to make it format to bold text

OBSERVED RESULT
The markdown presents as "not bold" text. If you remove the foreign symbol it does turn to proper markdown rendering

EXPECTED RESULT
That markdown should show correctly

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux: Garuda Linux
Latest Plasma

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Key here is that like many who do not speak English natively I have my system set to use English as a language to make it easier to repair or fix small bugs (searching in English provides more results). So Ghostwriter may perhaps see my native use of å, ä and ö as foreign characters not to be included.
