We fixed an MLT issue, which should solve this type of audio crackling. Tested on Snap, Flatpak, and the current unstable version (appimage) STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Place two long pieces of audio, I was using atmos for my scene, city sounds. 2. I cut the file into pieces, making some parts louder to match camera distance to the source of the sound 3. When switching from one audio to another there's a cracking sound. Changing formats etc doesn't help. Present even after render. Workaround: placing the files on separate channels.
