Description martin-kokos 2023-11-09 18:10:36 UTC
SUMMARY
When bluetooth headphones autoconnect, volume doesn't change (but slider moves) when using media volume keys or moving slider in tray Volume control. When they are disconnected from bluetooth and reconnected, volume control works.
Another way is to Deny the pairing in popup and pair manually via the Connect button in Bluetooth tray panel

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. take headphones from their box so they activate bluetooth
2. a plasma notification pops up offering to pair the headphones (they are not set to trusted so I can deny it due to this bug)
3. Authoraize the pairing
4. Try to adjust volume using the volume keys or volume slider from plasma Volume systray widget

OBSERVED RESULT
Volume doesn't change but slider moves as if volume changed

EXPECTED RESULT
VOlume should adjust according to slider

This no longer seems to be an issue with plasma 6.1.4

Take that back still an issue. It is interesting that volume controlo beyond 100% works but everything from 1-100 is the same volume. Switching to speakers and back to headphones in system-tray doesn't help.
