STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open pdf file on a share hosted over wan
2.

OBSERVED RESULT
Okular takes nearly 30 seconds to load

EXPECTED RESULT
Okular loads instantly

Okular is the only application that takes a long time to open documents.

file system used is nfs, but sshfs and smbfs also show the same behavior.
