Description Nathan 2023-10-30 19:27:05 UTC
Plasma Search is missing some applications when I search, most notably PrusaSlicer. When I type in `Prusa` (not including the quotes in the search), I get 3 results:

1. Prusa GCode Viewer (an application)
2. prusa-slicer_prusa-gcodeviewer.desktop (the snap desktop file for the above)
3. prusa-slicer_prusa-slicer.desktop (the snap desktop file for the PrusaSlicer application, though the application is not shown)

If I type in `PrusaS` instead, it will show only the PrusaSlicer applciation.

If I type in `Prusa S` (with a space) I get the Prusa GCode Viewer application, and then a large number of other search results that doesn't include PrusaSlicer.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Have prusaslicer snap installed
2. Search for `Prusa`

OBSERVED RESULT

PrusaSlicer is not shown, only the 3 results listed above

EXPECTED RESULT

PrusaSlicer is shown as a result with the others.

Thank you for the bug report!

However Plasma 5.24.7 is no longer eligible for support or maintenance from KDE; supported versions are 5.27, and 5.27 or newer. Please upgrade to a supported version as soon as your distribution makes it available to you. Plasma is a fast-moving project, and bugs in one version are often fixed in the next one.

If you need support for Plasma 5.24.7, please contact your distribution, who bears the responsibility of providing support for older releases that are no longer supported by KDE.

If you can reproduce the issue after upgrading to a supported version, feel free to re-open this bug report.
