Description Riccardo Robecchi 2023-10-30 08:37:49 UTC
SUMMARY
The extension used to offer menu items that allowed you to share directly to a device, without having to first click on "share" and then select the device from a popup. This menu item also appeared when you right clicked on tabs. It appears that this feature no longer works, possibly due to changes in Firefox. I have briefly tested this in Vivaldi as well and it's not there either, but as I have never used the integration with that browser I do not know if this is normal.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Right click on a link or a tab

OBSERVED RESULT
There no longer is a "share to device" menu item.

EXPECTED RESULT
There is a "share to device" menu item.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux: KDE neon
KDE Plasma Version: 5.27.8
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.110.0
Qt Version: 5.15.11

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Using Firefox 119.

Sorry, I remembered incorrectly. The right wording is "open on device". It is shown in this screenshot from the extension's own page on the Firefox extension store: https://addons.mozilla.org/user-media/previews/full/202/202549.png?modified=1622132803
