SUMMARY

When I copy a picture with area selection on a PDF, the resulting image is half black. I originally installed Okular with apt, then reinstall it with snap but the problem persists. I am using Ubuntu 22.04.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. tools>area selection
2. select part of the PDF page
3. copy image>copy to clipboard
4. paste image in other applications

OBSERVED RESULT
The image has a large black band in the middle of the picture. 

EXPECTED RESULT
Whole picture as seen on the original PDF
