extremely quick mockup of what a filter might look like, matching the manual font size field on the right

Whenever I change my system font, it becomes tedious to scroll through my long list of fonts to choose the one I want. Adding a filter for the font name and font style would be a wonderful QOL change.

I've attached a very quickly thrown together concept.

It's a good idea, but this font dialog isn't KDE code; it comes straight from Qt. So you'd need to request the change there, at https://bugreports.qt.io/

We *could* override the font dialog with our own custom one that would then be under our control, but so far there is no consensus that this would be worth the maintenance burden
