STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. SDDM
2. keyboard listed as US but my system is pt_br.
3. change the layout

OBSERVED RESULT
Changing the layout doesn't fix it.

EXPECTED RESULT
Fix the layout as it was installed and it will not be necessary to change it only after accessing the SDDM.

Thanks for the bug report, but SDDM is not a KDE projects and bugs in SDDM need to be reported at https://github.com/sddm/sddm/issues. In this case there is no need since a bug report in SDDM already exists: https://github.com/sddm/sddm/issues/1767.

For Fedora 39, the Fedora folks are simply hiding the chooser, since it's inaccurate right now and the correct layout is in fact being used.
