SUMMARY
Dolphin always reopens same locations on startup.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Ensure that "show on startup" is set to some arbitrary directory
2. log in
3. 

OBSERVED RESULT
Dolphin is opened, with multiple tabs and windows, none of which are the location specified in startup.

EXPECTED RESULT
dolphin is not opened. But even if it is, only a single window is opened. But even if multiple windows are opened, only a single tab is opened in each one. But even if multiple tabs are opened, they are opened to the location specified in the startup box.

I've experienced something similar using KDE on different installations and distros over time: Manjaro, KDE Neon, OpenSUSE Tumbleweed, and now EndeavourOS. Specifically, after a while, Dolphin began opening on startup to a specific directory, that I had not specified anywhere in any configuration. I had Dolphin initially set to show folders, tabs, etc. from last time, and I most recently tried to specify showing my $HOME on startup. Both times, it defaults to some other directory.

I'm unable to replicate this issue on 24.12.1 or 24.12.2.

Can you please test on a new user account and confirm if this issue is still occurring? If it is, please change the status back to REPORTED.

I'm unable to reproduce the issue on KDE plasma 6.2.5.
