I've experienced something similar using KDE on different installations and distros over time: Manjaro, KDE Neon, OpenSUSE Tumbleweed, and now EndeavourOS. Specifically, after a while, Dolphin began opening on startup to a specific directory, that I had not specified anywhere in any configuration. I had Dolphin initially set to show folders, tabs, etc. from last time, and I most recently tried to specify showing my $HOME on startup. Both times, it defaults to some other directory. Currently, I'm using: EndeavourOS KDE Plasma Version 6.2.4 KDE Frameworks Version 6.9.0 Qt Version: 6.8.1 Kernel Version: 6.12.4-arch1-1 (64-bit) Graphics Platform: Wayland I'm unable to replicate this issue on 24.12.1 or 24.12.2. Can you please test on a new user account and confirm if this issue is still occurring? If it is, please change the status back to REPORTED. I'm unable to reproduce the issue on KDE plasma 6.2.5. bjacob99@yahoo.com I'm going to mark this as resolved as it works for me and the original reporter. If you find it's still an issue for you, p[lease feel free to reopen this report. |
