Hello, 
For bar plot
- It would be better if I can choose the data rows to plot according to individual or ranges choices.
- The names of columns should contain subscript and superscript because they appear in the legend with no further control on the legend.
- The texts in cells of a text column should contain subscript and superscript because they appear as labels if I choose custom labels and choose this column.

Just to chime in on this with a quick suggestion: Labplot supports LaTex rendering already is some places. It would be best and probably easier too to just use LaTex rendering labels everywhere where text labels are shown?
