Description julo 2002-09-06 13:11:42 UTC
(*** This bug was imported into bugs.kde.org ***)

Package: kooka
Version: 0.38 (using KDE 3.0.7 1 beta1))
Severity: normal
Installed from: Mandrake Linux Cooker i586 - Cooker
Compiler: gcc version 2.96 20000731 (Mandrake Linux 8.2 2.96-0.76mdk)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.18-6mdk
OS/Compiler notes:

Hi

I tried the OCR function in kooka. So I scanned a black and white paper with text in 266 dpi.

I then saved the picture as a PNG file (kscan_0001.png).

If I do: "gocr kscan_0001.png" the text appears quite correctly.

But If I do "OCR Image" from kooka GUI and use default values nothing appears except "(PICTURE)".

I use gocr-0.3.5.

That was a problem that gocr 0.3.5 expected another image format.
fixed in CVS
