Created attachment 162101 [details] backtrace for kwin crash SUMMARY Sometimes when I turn my monitor back on - after either I turned it off manually, or it was set to sleep automatically after some time - all I see is a fresh Plasma workspace and all applications that were previously open are gone. I managed to get a backtrace for kwin, see the attachment. My monitor is connected via Thunderbolt and I have an Intel Core i7-13800H CPU with a Raptor Lake-P (Iris Xe Graphics) GPU and an NVIDIA RTX A1000 6GB Laptop GPU with proprietary drivers installed. $ sudo prime-select get-current Driver configured: offload NVIDIA modules are loaded STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Turn off monitor 2. Turn on monitor OBSERVED RESULT kwin crashes EXPECTED RESULT kwin should not crash SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Windows: macOS: Linux/KDE Plasma: openSUSE Tumbleweed 20230923 (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: 5.27.8 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.110.0 Qt Version: 5.15.10 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
