SUMMARY
No battery indicator shown on electricity unplugged. 

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Unplug electrical adapter

OBSERVED RESULT
Brightness indicator appears, but not battery indicator (battery checkbox is checked)

EXPECTED RESULT
Battery displayed

"No batteries available" message displayed on mouseover over brightness. But ofc, battery is present.

Batter indicator is shown properly in Wayland, so this seems to be X11 issue:

Can you sttach a screenshot of the thing that's missing what you expect, as well as what that same thing looks like on Wayland where it does appear?

The bug disappeared recently after some update.
