Hi Nate, I added screenshots before and after as well as the kscren-doctor output before and after (although there's no difference). I also could force the behaviour by switching the top bar from floating to non-floating. Changing this led to the messed up screen. I now can provide more logs / debug output before and after as I know how to reproduce. Some additional notes to my setup: The Lenovo T14 is connected to the DELL Monitor via USB-C. The DELL Monitor has an integrated docking station. It's an U3821UW model. More info: External Monitor is positioned left of internal laptop as MAIN One more observation yesterday: When I unplugged the laptop from the dock while in suspend mode and resumed the session the 1920x1080 laptop screen showed the background image as if the laptop has the big resolution (only parts of background image was shown. Panels were correct. so sth. like the opposite behaviour from descriped above regarding size. It looked like the plasma screen size has moved from the big external monitor to the internal like: hey when suspending the main monitor had 3840x1600 resolution and after resume when only laptop screen was there and now new main the new resolution hasn't been adjusted; just taken from the main monitor from before suspending. (Unfortunately I haven't taken a screenshot of that) Thanks a lot. In the time since you posted those comments (sorry for the delay in getting back to you!) the way multi-monitor handling has worked on Plasma Wayland has fundamentally changed, with KWin now in charge of everything. Any chance I could ask you to test out Plasma 6 in some capacity? See https://community.kde.org/Plasma/Plasma_6#How_to_use/test_it. Thanks a lot! Hi Nate, yes I read about the upcoming big redesign and that kwin will do it all. I firstly need to check if my spare laptop has the problem, too and then will update to plasma 6 on that. I need my main laptop to be fully reliable. Unfortunatley this issue doesn't seem to be something to test in a VM... I'll keep you/team updated here, once I found something.
