I work with *kdenlive files as containers for templates in my Library.
Some templates are square format and therefore nicely usable
for vertical and horizontal (landscape/portrait) productions.
Sometimes I also add Timeline Selections to the Library as *mlt files
containing those templates.

During work I recognized that Position & Zoom and Transform Effect
apply wrong transformations to those square sources files (1080:1080) inside my
vertical/portrait project.
Later even the rendering output resulted in a square video (1080:1080), even though
the project was set up as vertical (1080:1920)
