In Windows the clipboard manager works by left-clicking on the clipboard entry, and in pastes that element into the currently-selected window.

I find it very nice and user-friendly. It would be great to have an option to enable that on Klipper as well!

Not sure how feasible this is; we'd need to write a custom input method for it and make sure it played nicely with other ones.
