SUMMARY
Merkuro Calendar could provide a widget for showing upcoming calendar events on the Plasma panel.

The same format as the Media Controller applet could be used, with the album artwork instead being a circle coloured with the event's colour, the title being the name of the event and the subtitle saying "in 15 minutes", friendly text to show when the event begins. This would be the applet's compact representation.

For the full representation, the applet could show the same as the left pane in Digital Clock, maybe with added actions for working with calendar events.
