What an interesting thing to do. I've never even thought of doing that! Can confirm though. I find this very useful and it drives me crazy when it's not working. Here is one possible use case: You want to select a couple of lines starting with the one below the cursor. Press and hold the down arrow, then press shift during the key repetition delay. Saves one keypress. :) Fixed in 6.1. |
